WAKE CAMP COACHES
Ash Richardson, humble, wide eyed, and soft spoken. “Ash Ritchie” Explosive, tattooed, and wild. They are one in the same. No alter egos, just a guy who loves to surf and share with the community. Hailing from The United Kingdom, and having grown up in the South of Portugal and Barbados, 31 year old Ash Ritchie integrated into the developing wakesurf community with a series of surf film edits, which displayed manoeuvres that are rising the bar within the Russian surf community, without compromising the true surf style. Sponsors like Xcel and Soulcraft, quickly noticed his progression and reach to the Russian audience and stepped in to support the virtually unknown surfing Brit.

What is it like coaching professional surfers? Its not easy as there are high expectations but this is the challenge I love and each athlete is different. I am always looking to find that extra 10% in performance from every session. I find the job very rewarding.
Why do you like about wake surfing? We always have a wave to play with and anyone can get involved.
How will the camp help surfers? We will focus on technique, mobility, strength and balance. The video analysis will help students see what they are doing wrong and how to correct their mistakes. The more time you can spend on the water with the team the faster you will reach your wake/surfing goals. We have 1 to 4 day camps so you can choose the best length of camp for you.
Your personal favourite move? Alley Oop
Favourite move to teach? 180-degree ollie frontside
