Rusty gets the double nomination at the 2020 SIMA awards
CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR FOR THE 419 FISH AND THE BLADE
We are super proud to announce that we were nominated in two categories for the SIMA awards this year. Unfortunately, we didn't win either but are just as stoked to have a nom. These nominations are a sign of the amazing work Rusty Preisendorfer has been doing for many decades now with his influence and push in the progression of surfboard design - and he's not slowing down any time soon.
The 2 out of the 4 new surfboards we have released in the last 12 months were nominated in their respective fields of performance surfboard of the year, and alternative surfboard of the year.
The 419 fish only released a few months ago and is selling well into stores and through to customers, and even better its getting GREAT feedback from team riders and anyone that can get their hands on one.
The Blade, well that's just a sure-fire winner and has been in the market for almost 12 months. This model has been flying off the racks globally and was featured in a STAB magazine joyride episode as well as being one of the go to models for most of our international surf team. It was the inspiration for the flat deck movement we started as well.
